From an early age, Chris enjoyed listening to music and quickly found means of producing it, mainly through Saturday morning classical piano lessons and choral singing. In his teens, Chris was fortunate to be invited to join many fellow musicians in different ensembles, sometimes to be found at the piano, at others in a vocal role.

Always happy to play for guests or at a party, Chris built up a vast repertoire of music with popular appeal. Leaving school, he soon began playing at a wide range of events across Scotland, in addition to playing many a bride down the aisle! Chris has held a range of residencies in top hotels and restaurants and is currently the resident pianist at the Balmoral Hotel, Princes Street, Edinburgh.
