Chris covers a
wide range of styles and artists. Standards made famous by singers such as Frank Sinatra. Classic jazz melodies by the likes of George Gershwin. Tuneful pop by Billy Joel, The Beatles or Elton John. Hits from West End shows. All played in sumptuous, intricate arrangements.
Wedding ceremonies, both civil and religious, can also be accommodated - with music from the piano or organ as required. Typically, you will be invited to select music for the procession, the signing of the schedule and the recessional march. Of course, if you are having a religious ceremony, you may wish to include one or two hymns. Don't panic if you are unsure of what you want - there are lots of options and Chris will be happy to talk things over and offer advice. You may want to walk down the aisle to the music of Wagner, Purcell or Bach, or you may want something more contemporary and informal. To get some ideas, please take a look over the 'Wedding Ceremony Music' page. Following the wedding ceremony, Chris can play for your drinks reception and through dinner, at a volume that adds a great atmosphere but doesn't infringe upon conversation.
For those venues lacking a piano, Chris can provide a superb digital instrument, which is also used during wedding ceremonies to give a very realistic and powerful church organ tone.
Video samples of Chris playing are available by following this YouTube link -
Please have a listen to some of the following piano and organ samples. They are all recorded using the digital instrument that Chris uses live, so you can hear just how realistic it sounds.
Files are in MP3 format.
